Aug 02, 2011 (A Wilson) - The mineralization consists of black phlogopite mica in books up to 5 inches in diameter. These were considered to be of no commercial value due to the high iron content and presence of flaws, breaks, crenulations and cracks. Sillimanite occurs as fine-grained fibrous, radiating aggregates which make up to 30% of the host rock.
