Jul 15, 2011 (A Wilson) - The Joyces Lake gabbro body is 2 miles long and 1 mile wide. The body consists of bronze-coloured pyroxenite and gabbro with purplish labradorite feldspar. The rocks are unmetamorphosed, but show some cataclasis.
