Sep 26, 2011 (A Wilson) - The marble is coarsely crystalline, compact, faintly banded and bluish in colour.

Sep 26, 2011 (A Wilson) - A grab sample collected by G.E. Goudge analysed: 2.14% SiO2, 0.24% Fe2O3, 0.18% Al2O3, 0.04% Ca3(PO4)2, 88.70% CaCO3 and 8.76% Mg CO3. Tiny flakes of graphite and occasional thin veins of dolomite were observed at the site.
