Mineralization Comments

Aug 23, 2011 (A Wilson) - A 2.5 foot section of drill core returned 0.02% Ag and 0.011% Co. Anomalous radioactivity occurs over an area of three square meters in a pink granite pegmatite dike cutting biotite-hornblende gneiss and amphibolite. In 1959, a sample collected by N. Boicey assayed 0.07% U3O8 (radiometric). OGS sample R-77-73-1 assayed 410 ppm U3O8 and 268 ppm Th. Minor pyrite and pyrrhotite was observed in east-west fractures in the amphibolite gneiss. Some molybdenite was observed in the gneiss and occasional flecks also were observed in the pegmatite.
