Aug 23, 2011 (A Wilson) - A 5 foot sill of granite pegmatite was exposed by stripping. It trends N35W and dips 40°SW. A small body of marble overlies the pegmatite and a pale-green pyroxenite underlies the pegmatite. The mineralization is associated with the margin of a gneissic tonalite. Aug 23, 2011 (A Wilson) - A few scattered flakes of coarse molybdenite was observed in the pyroxenite. The molybdenite ranges in size from ¼ inch to 1 inch in width.
