Aug 25, 2011 (A Wilson) - Mineralization is associated with a succession of interlayered marble, calcareous mudstone and sandstone cut by pegmatite dikes. A pyroxenitic skarn was observed in the northern part of the township

Mineralization Comments

Aug 25, 2011 (A Wilson) - Satterly observed disseminated pyrite and pyrrhotite in the intrusive in the pits/trenches along the northern boundary of the lot. In the western pits, a little pyrrhotite was observed in the pit. No molybdenite was observed. Radiating clusters of actinolite up to 4 inches long occur in the marble. Carter et al. observed a few scattered, coarse flakes of molybdenum in the pyroxenitic skarn.
