Access Description: Roadcut 1.6 km northeast of Admaston, 10 km west of Renfrew.

Aug 17, 2011 (A Wilson) - Marine clay is exposed in a road cut 1.6 km northeast of Admaston. The exposure is in the broad level valley of the Bonnechere River. Two samples were collected. Sample 63-643 is a massive brown, blocky marine clay. Sample 63-642 is sandy, stoneless, rubbly brown clay.
Aug 17, 2011 (A Wilson) - Sample 63-642 returned the following analysis: 7.16% Fe2O3, 2.52% CaO and contained abundant illite. Sample 63-643 returned the following analysis: 8.2% Fe2O3, 3.03% CaO and contained abundant illite and trace chlorite. Both samples had fair ceramic properties.
