Lithology

Lithology Data
Rock Type Rank Composition Texture Relationship
Pegmatite 1 Host
Paragneiss 2 Contains
Marble 3 Adjacent

Lithology Comments

Aug 17, 2011 (A Wilson) - White pegmatite dikes intersected a sequence of marble, siliceous rusty-weathering pyritic gneiss, grey-white biotite gneiss and mafic hornblende-biotiite gneisses. These rocks strike 60-90° and dip 20-30° SE

Mineralization Comments

Aug 17, 2011 (A Wilson) - Chip and grab samples reportedly assayed 0.012% U3O8.(radiometric equivalent). Mineralization as indicated b anomalous radioactivity appears to be disseminated throughout the pegmatite, but in places is concentrated into hot spots which do not differ either structurally or mineralogically from the dike. Samples R77-77-1 and R77-71-3 assayed 2 ppm U3O8.and 10 ppm Th.
