Aug 23, 2011 (A Wilson) - Pits and trenches have exposed the southern zone for a length of 150 feet. These pits exposed hornblende schist containing up to 50% disseminated magnetite across a width of 2 feet and a few conformable bands of massive magnetite as much as 2 inches thick. The northern zone has been traced for 165 feet. The two zones are approximately 130 feet apart. The schist dips to the south. The metagabbro is a conformable intrusion within a sequence of interbedded silieous marble and calcarous mudstone.
