May 02, 2011 (A Wilson) - Mineralization consists mainly of coarse flakes of molybdenite contained in narrow (1 to 15 cm) conformable vuggy, pegmatitic layers and lenses of quartz, microcline, pyrite, and pyrrhotite. These pegmatitic layers generally dip 20-30° east and strike north to north-northwest. The layers and lenses occur only in the hedenbergite gneiss. There is also a small amount of disseminated molybdenite in the hedenbergite gneiss. The gneisses strike from north to northwest and dip 10 to 20° E.
