Aug 26, 2011 (A Wilson) - The pegmatite is an irregular sill-like body that trends 040°/030°. The pegmatite contains inclusions of marble and the marble is recrystallized and coarsened and altered to diopside along the contacts.

Aug 26, 2011 (A Wilson) - The predominant feldspar is plagioclase (probably oligoclase). White to pale pink orthoclase occurs towards the centre of the dike. There are also pinkish feldspar crystals up to 15 cm in length in the central part of the dike. Minor muscovite, chloritized biotite, disseminated pyrite, hornblende, garnet and hematite plus an unknown radioactive mineral also were identified.
