Access Description: The area is reached by walking the township line between Brougham and Blithfield Townships from Hwy 508. A pit is situated in the SW part of Lot 25, Con 5, Blithfield Township. It lies on the top of a ridge about 1/2 ml SW of the Scully farm. 5 pits are situated in the NE part of Lot 1, Con 6, Brougham Twp; about 1 ml SW of the Scully farm.

Aug 26, 2011 (A Wilson) - Satterly observed graphite flakes ranging from 1/40 to 1/10 of an inch in width. The graphite forms approximately 20% of the gneiss.
