May 04, 2011 (A Wilson) - The country rock is described as a slightly rusty garnet-biotite paragneiss striking N20E and dipping 40° to 50° SE. A graphite-bearing limestone lens was observed within the paragneiss in one of the pits.

May 04, 2011 (A Wilson) - A lens of graphite-bearing rock 8 feet by 4 feet by 4 feet was observed in one of the pits. The graphite content is variable within all of the pits.
