Access Description: Dolomite exposures adjacent to the Carp River.

Dec 07, 2005 (C Papertzian) - Beekmantown dolomite is exposed in numerous outcrops : in lots 19-21 it is massive, oolitic and sometimes brecciated. Cryptozoa (2-5 ft diameter and up to 3 ft high) are present. On lot 23 a section 13.5 ft thick has been quarried for building stone.
