Point Location Description: Square symbol ' Pb,Zn 9 ' just S of Hwy 22 and NE of Galetta.
Location Method: Conversion from MDI
Access Description: The deposit lies about 8 km E of Arnprior and 1.6 km SE of the Kingdon Mine. It is 45 m S of Fitzroy County Road 22, midway between con roads 7 and 8, NE of Galetta.
1917: 3 prospect pits. 1948-9: acquired by Duvay Gold Mines Ltd who formed Stanton Lead Mines Ltd. They put in 5 pits up to 2.5 m across and 3 m deep; 2 trenches - 60 m x 2m deep and 8 m x 3 m deep - and a shaft. They are reported to have drilled in 1954.

Geological Age: Mesoproterozoic
Dec 07, 2005 (C Papertzian) - A calcite-galena -sphalerite vein up to 2 m thick in marble. It has been traced over 450 m and is located 300 m NE of a fault and 2.5 km E of a fault junction. The vein is said to have had strong lead showings over a width of 5 ft and averaged 6 % Pb.
