Sep 26, 2011 (A Wilson) - In 1929 the face was 400 feet long and 60 feet deep. The material was red-burning marine clay. Stratified marine clay and silts, in places topped with sand are found in the valley of Dochert Creek. These deposits are part of the Champlain clays.
