Sep 27, 2011 (A Wilson) - Gull River Formation: interbedded silty dolostone, lithographic to tine crystalline limestone, oolitic limestone, shale, and fine-grained calcareous quartz sandstone. The limestone strikes N15°W and dips from 70-90 south. The rock is rather thinly bedded, but material of sufficient size for the making of coursing stone is available.
