Sep 26, 2011 (A Wilson) - The GSC collected a sample from the bank of the White River. The clay bank consists of about 6 feet of grey, pasty, stiff marine clay.

Sep 26, 2011 (A Wilson) - The clay would require the addition of approximately 35% sand to make it workable. It was suggested that the addition of marl from the White Lake deposit might improve the working and drying qualities of the clay.
