Mineralization Comments

May 13, 2013 (A Wilson) - Apatite is common in 0.05 to 1 cm wide prisms several cm in length and as small (2-5 mm) poorly formed crystals; large crystals 2-5 cm wide also occur. In addition to the pale fluorite, disseminated purple fluorite occurs in small patches up to 1 m long, usually associated with apatite or fractures in the vein. Apatite occurs in large patches of small crystals or isolated large crystals in an apatite-poor part of the vein.

Dec 07, 2005 (D Laidlaw) - White calcite-fluorite-hornblende vein with minor apatite and purple to brown fluorite, associated with pink microcline-albite-hornblende-quartz pegmatite.
