May 11, 2013 (A Wilson) - The band of pure stone appears to be 200 ft wide and is flanked on both sides by very siliceous dolomite. The stone is a dazzling white colour. The stone has irregular jointing. A quarry was developed on the site for the production of monuments.
May 11, 2013 (A Wilson) - A grab sample collected by Goudge (sample 127) assayed 0.20% SiO2, 0.10% Fe2O3, tr Al2O3, 0.04 Ca3(PO4)2, 55.82 CaCO3 and 44.00% MgCO3.
