Point Location Description: Pooint 2.8 Km N of Sandfield Mills.

Access Description: 5 Km S of Apple Hill.
Quarry opened in 1983 by A.L.Blair Construction Co Ltd and licensed for 60.7 ha ( the quarried area covered about 1 ha in 1986 ). The quarry was initially for building stone for local use but now is intermittently operated on a single lift of 7.3 m for aggregate ( 1986 ). It was partially filled with water in 1986.
