Point Location Description: Second from E of 5 quarry symbols, about 1 ml NNE of Mille Roches ( lot 25, con 4 ).
Location Method: Conversion from MDI
Access Description: A group of quarries situated about 1 ml N of Mille Roches ( about midway between the CNR and New York Central railways ). These yielded crushed stone and stone for lime but, most importantly, large quantities of dimension stone for canal construction. Only one is in production at present, the Permanent Concrete Quarry - MDI31G02SW00012.
Pre 1912 : canal construction, also for lime and, later, aggregate ( Permanent Concrete - MDI31G02SW00012 ).

Dec 07, 2005 (C Papertzian) - Rockliffe ( St. Martin ) limestone - hard stone, some problems with chiselling.
