Exploration History

One of the ' Mille Roches Quarries ' - MDI31G02SW00002 ( Pre 1912 ) - stone used in canal construction. Opened by Permanent Concrete Ltd in 1967 - for aggregate (roads and cement).

Geology Comments

Dec 07, 2005 (C Papertzian) - About 45 ft of Middle Black River limestone is quarried in 3 lifts. The floor is in dolomite acribed to the Lower Black River Formation. Possible potential for building stone.
