Access Description: Peat bog in Concession V, Lot 30 Osgoode Twp.
Peat and Peatlands Evaluation. Peat deposit covers a surface area of 560 ha. Average total peat depth recorded at 7 sample sites is 1.7 m, with a central portion of the deposit where a maximum total depth of 3.1 m is recorded. The limited investigated sampling points have yielded an assumed volume of peat at 9.5 million cubic metres 10% of peat (OFR 5491).
