Access Description: On the N side of Hwy 17 in Orleans.
1960s and 1970s : operated by Frazer Duntile Ltd for concrete aggregate and stone for road construction. They may have used this stone for roofing granules - or was it from another of their quarries ?? 1993 : the quarry was slightly overgrown and inactive for several years - now surrounded by urban development. Access is restricted by a fence surrrounding the property. The quarry is 8.8 m deep. Owned by Minto Construction Ltd in 1991.

Dec 07, 2005 (C Papertzian) - 8.8 m of Bobcaygeon Formation shaly limestone - fossiliferous with abundant brachiopods, cephalopods and colonial corals. See section AQ OT-4 in OGS 1991.
