Exploration History

Circa 1906 : Odell Brothers (also O'Dell Brothers) operated a brickworks producing about 2 million bricks/year in 1906, 3 million in 1908. This was one of the oldest yards in the Ottawa area and had a large output.




Geology Comments

Dec 07, 2005 (C Papertzian) - The clay is similar to that in other Ottawa brickyards - red on top, blue Leda below - they were mixed to produce red brick.
