Circa 1906 : brickmaking (red only) - 2,000,000 per season in 1908.
Dec 07, 2005 (C Papertzian) - Leda clay on the bank of the Rideau Canal. A larger proportion of mild clay than at some of the brickyards around Ottawa, there being a second layer of about 6 ft.
