Point Location Description: Point 1.2 km NW of Carson Grove.

Access Description: Probably one of 'The Quarries'.
Pre-1912-late 1930s : quarry operated by the Laurentian Stone Co Ltd (probably one of 'The Quarries', a number of large quarries in this area that had been worked for some time). In 1938 this quarry covered 6 acres and had been worked to a depth of 12 ft (with a further 8 ft exposed in a pit in the floor). At that time it was only producing lime. It had produced building stone originally, but not for many years prior to 1938.
Province: Paleozoic and Mesozoic Basins
Dec 07, 2005 (C Papertzian) - Described as the same limestone as in Robillard's Quarry (lot 22, con 1). A brown-grey, variably- bedded limestone with some shale. See DEMR/CANMET # 781 (1938).
