Access Description: Samples taken midway between Hurdman's Bridge (E end of Ottawa) and Blackburn hamlet - around lot 18 (15-20).

Dec 07, 2005 (C Papertzian) - Samples of Carlsbad Formation shale (which lies within 3-4 ft of surface) taken from a shallow ditch. Both samples contained some sandy shale and only 1 had excellent bloating properties.
