Concrete and asphalt aggregate were produced. 1984 : now operated by Armbro Aggregates (a division of United Aggregates Ltd) and licensed for 122.21 ha, the excavated area covering 37 ha in 1989. The quarry was 27.3 m deep and overburden 1-3 m thick. c1972 : Bertrand and Freres Construction Co Ltd operated a quarry in lot 27, con 5. It had a 24.5 ft face in 1972 and operated on demand. Overburden about 1-3 ft. pre-1991 : George W. Drummond operated a quarry on lot 28, con 6. It had a 6.75 m face.
