Point Location Description: Quarry symbol 4.0 km SE of Leitrim.
Location Method: Conversion from MDI
Access Description: Situated immediately SE of the Armbro (South Gloucester) Quarry.
1964 : opened by Dibblee Construction Co Ltd, now part of Warren Paving and Materials Group Ltd. Licensed for 50.58 ha (1989). The quarry was 15.2 m deep with an excavated area, in 1989, of about 25 ha. The quarry was worked on 2 lifts with a third available if needed. The crushed stone was used in asphalt. Overburden is 1-3 m thick.
