Point Location Description: Triangle symbol Cu, U nearest symbol 14 just west of South March.
Location Method: Conversion from MDI
Access Description: The occurrence straddles the Old Carp Road approximately 1.7 km southwest of the intersection with Highway 17 which is 0.4 km northwest of the village of South March.
October 1972: A series of test flights of gamma-ray spectrometry surveys was carried out by the GSC. An anomaly discovered by the surveys was followed up with ground surveying which outlined an anomaly 2000 feet long by 500 feet wide, trending northerly. 1973: The GSC carried out soil and hydrogeochemical surveys. 1974 and 1975: Kerr Addison Mines Limited, optioned the property and performed some exploratory work.
