Point Location Description: Quarry symbol 1.5 km SE of Sarsfield.

Bertrand and Freres Construction Co Ltd - Sarsfield Quarry. Opened in 1979 and licensed for an area of 22.25 ha. In 1986 the quarry produced weeping bed stone and granular stone that was used in local road, bridge and subdivision construction.
