Access Description: 3.1 km west of Brisson.
Plant built in 1912 had been in the Domtar group (originally Cooksville Company) since 1928. It was officially closed on January 1, 1965. (Guillet, 1967). During 2000, 74 883 t of material were extracted (OFR 6132, p2). 2002: Drill hole OGS 01-06 was cored from the top of the east wall of the Russell Quarry to a total depth of 60.97 m ( OFR 6094, p47).
