Circa 1917-38 : S.D. Stevens quarry, producing crushed stone and stone for lime (sample # 31). Quarry about 100 x 100 ft in 1938, with 24 ft exposed above water (sample # 223).
Province: Paleozoic and Mesozoic Basins
Dec 07, 2005 (C Papertzian) - Lindsay Formation limestone - dark, blue-grey, heavily-bedded with a tendency to split along thin seams of black shale. Broken into large blocks, some recemented with white calcite (fault close by).
