Point Location Description: Point at Vankleek Hill Station, lot 10, con 4.
Location Method: Conversion from MDI
1850-1930+ : E.G. Steele operated 2 brick yards - the Potter (from c1850) on the CNR in lots 9/10, con 4; the Resbeck (date unknown) on the CPR in lot 2 (?), con 4. Both produced about 1 million red soft-mud bricks, in a 4 month season, in 1930.
Dec 07, 2005 (C Papertzian) - The Potter pit contained 3 ft of loam and 3 ft of strong clay, overlying gravel. The top 6 ft was blended.
