Access Description: Clay exposed in the banks of a gulley under Hyw 17, 1.5 ml E of Cumberland.
Dec 07, 2005 (C Papertzian) - Sample # 149 from a 15 ft cut. It expanded 35 % when fired in a rotary kiln at 2,000-2,025 degrees - showing promise of being suitable for this process.
