Point Location Description: Point on Hwy 17 2.5 km W of Cumberland.

Access Description: Sample # 148 taken from a cut beside Hwy 17 about 1.75 ml W of Cumberland.
Dec 07, 2005 (C Papertzian) - Grey-brown clay sample ( representative of clay occurring at various locations in the vicinity of Cumberland ) taken from a 6 ft exposure beside the highway. It expanded 25 % when fired at 2,000-2040 degrees in the rotary kiln. This shows promise for use in the rotary kiln process.
