Access Description: From Powasson, proceed west on Highway 534 for ~4.6km. Proceed south on the township road for ~3.4km to quarry site. The quarry is 20m east of the road at the point where the road sharply turns from NE to SE.

Mar 11, 2013 (A Wilson) - Approximately 50 tons of stone were removed from a small quarry in a low-lying outcrop of strongly lineated, pale grey, quartz monzonite augen gneiss. There may be some potential to obtain blocks in excess of 10 tons. Exposure of the outcrop is limited and the relief in the area is low. The stone has the appearance of a normal granite when cut perpendicular to lineation and of a gneiss when cut parallel to foliation.
