May 22, 2009 (A Wilson) - Hematite-enriched, silicified, brecciated rocks of the Powassan batholith lie along a fault zone. The hematite-enriched fault breccia is exposed in places along a bush road leading from South Bay to Fright Lake. The breccia has been observed to be as wide as 100 feet.
