Dec 14, 2011 (A Wilson) - The pit was opened on a narrow dike consisting of massive quartz carrying large scattered crystals of pink feldspar.

Mineralization Comments

Dec 14, 2011 (A Wilson) - Large plates of bioitite, up to 30 inches across, also were observed at the site. One carload of feldspar was shipped from the site.
