Aug 17, 2012 (A Wilson) - The wall rock consists of sheared argillite containing a few narrow calcite stringers. The vein has an eastward strike and dips to the south at 40°. It ranges in width from 4 inches to 24 inches. A flat-lying quartz vein also is reported in a pit lying approximately 300 feet to the north. Two additional quartz veins also were observed in the hanging wall of the shaft.

Aug 17, 2012 (A Wilson) - A grab sample collected from the site assayed $2.00 Au, $9.20 Ag, $4.20 Cu, $4.00 Pb. Grab samples collected by Cross Lake Mining Co. from the floor of the shaft returned the following assays. Sample 1: 0.03 oz/t Au, 2.26 oz/t Ag, 5.03% Cu and 2.39% Pb. Sample 2: 0.01% Au, 2.12 oz/t Ag, 0.35% Cu and 4.99% Pb.
