Lithology Comments

Aug 10, 2012 (A Wilson) - On the Iron City Mines Ltd. property iron occurs mainly as an oxide (soluble magnetic iron) in highly metamorphosed Grenville metasediments, interbedded ortho- and para-gneisses, in a large fold, several miles in length. Two southeast trending anomalous zones have been identified. The south zone dips moderately to the northeast and the north zone dips steeply to the northeast. Drilling on the south zone intersected approximately 164 m of interbedded iron formation and gneisses with the gneisses making up 50-75% of the total. Drilling on the north zone intersected 45.4 m of interbedded iron formation and gneisses of which 29.1 m represented iron formation.

Mineralization Comments

Aug 10, 2012 (A Wilson) - Sampled intersections from the south zone range from 10.5% soluble Fe over 3.8 m to 34.8% Fe over7.5 m. The north zone averaged 24.2% combined soluble Fe plus Mn. Typical Mn values ranged from 1.84% to 5.48% over 6 m. A 3 inch section of drill core also assayed 0.084% Ni. Assays of the Green Lake zone, performed at the Ontario Department of Mines, ranged from 9.1 to 36.7%, with an approximate average of 21.1% soluble iron. Analyses of the Cook zone showed an average of 13.3% soluble iron. Average manganese content in the Green Lake zone was 4.1% on the north limb, with a high of 7.8%.
