Access Description: From North Cobalt, drive south on hwy 567 going to Silver Centre. After 26.85km take road to left and drive a further 3.1km. Stop to west of point where Maiden Creek crosses Maiden Road. Foot traverse northnortheast, partly along an overgrown path to the site ~250m from the road.
1908-1914: shaft sinking and underground development. 1923-27: Anglo Huronian Mines - underground development. Circa 1940: Millwright Mine: in operation. 1952-54: Gilgreer Mines Ltd - exploration and development, in production; mine dewatered in 1952 and underground drifting and raising took place; 700 tons of ore hoisted, 1954: DD-7-1230 ft, 2396 tons of ore hoisted. 1954: Cobalt Consolidated Mining Corp. Ltd. - property acquisition. 1957: Agnico Mines Ltd. - property acquired.

Mar 26, 2013 (A Wilson) - An assay of 41.50 oz/t Ag, 11.69% Co and 5.39% Ni was returned from an 8126.7 pound sample taken by H.G. Miller in 1936. The sample consisted of material from underground as well as material from surface ore dumps. A sample collected from vein No 10 on the 250 level assayed 5860 oz/t Ag, 6.60% Co and 5.25% Ni
