Lithology Comments

Aug 16, 2017 (A Wilson) - Steeply dipping mafic metavolcanic rocks strike north and are intruded by a Nipissing quartz diabase sheet that dips about 40ºW beneath the mine workings. Lamprophyre and feldspar porphyry dikes occur locally underground. Calcite veins up to 15 inches in width are mineralized.
