Access Description: Rabbit Lake forest access road from Angus Lake (south of Temagami) on highway 11 for 22.8km across second bridge past Glasford Lake. Go nw by ATV for 8.4km. Traverse from bend in ATV trail (where it turns from north to northwest) a distance of 215m due north.
Pre 1925: 2 shafts excavated near the north side of diabase.

Jan 28, 2013 (A Wilson) - Mineralization is hosted in narrow quartz-carbonate veins up to 2 inches in width. The veins contain stringers of cobalt minerals about ¼ inch in thickness. Some cobalt bloom was observed in rocks in the rock dump near the shaft closest to Collins Lake.
