Access Description: From North Cobalt, highway 567 south past Silver Centre. Continue 45.5km to Fourbass Lake. Travel by boat south along Matabitchuan River to end of lake then traverse ene ~1.2km to site.



Exploration History

1926-1949: Friday Mines Limited - trenching, pitting, 156 ft. deep shaft with 201 ft. drift and 54 ft. cross cutting on the 80 ft. level; DD-8-1600. 1997-98: K.H. Kreise – geochemical survey, line cutting, sampling.SHAFT: DEPTH UNKNOWN, : CALCITE VEIN IN DIABASE UP TO 0.45M.

Lithology Comments

Mar 27, 2013 (A Wilson) - An irregular calcite vein, 2-18 inches in width, occurs within a diabase intrusion. The vein appears to occur at the contact between granite and the diabase.
