Oct 18, 2012 (A Wilson) - Two grab samples from the surface showings returned values of 0.05 - 0.2% Co, 0.5% Cu, 0.05 - 0.02% Ni and 0.3-1% Zn. The best drill hole assays from the Newkirk drilling varied from 0.16 to 0.45% Cu. A grab sample collected by Sylvanite from a trench reportedly assayed 1.2% Cu over 16 ft. W.S. Savage reported that the best copper assays from the 1955 diamond drilling were 0.16% Cu over 3.05 ft, 0.08% cu over 3.45 ft and 0.12% Cu over 2.75 ft from drill hole F-2. Diamond drilling by Temanda Mines Limited intersected massive and disseminated sulphide minerals and reported samples containing up to 1.98% Cu, 0.06% Ni and 0.038% Co. A grab sample collected from the property by the OGS in 1969 assayed 0.34% Cu, 0.01 oz/t Au, 0.09% Zn and trace Pb and Ni.
