Oct 20, 2012 (A Wilson) - A grab sample collected by the OGS in 1969 assayed 0.84% Cu, 0.36% Zn with trace amounts of Ni, Co. Pb, Ag and Au. Pyrrhotite occurs as seams and lenses a few inches long and pyrite tends to occur as blebs and cubes in the graphitic rock. Diamond drilling completed in 1956 returned assays up to 0.15% Cu over 3.6 feet. A grab sample collected from a trench for the Smith-Danielson exploration project assayed 0.47% Cu over4.5 feet. The best assays from Temex’s 2003 prospecting program were LL-01: 6760 ppm Cu, 1530 ppm Zn, 117 g/t Au, 2.4 g/t Ag; and LL-10: 1370 ppm Cu, 685 ppm Zn, 79 g/t Au, 1.6 g/t Ag. Both samples were collected from old pits adjacent to the highway.
