Nov 28, 2012 (A Wilson) - Picked samples from the old dumps yielded from 0.05 to 0.15% Ni and up to 3.5% Cu. Grab samples collected by the OGS in 1969 assayed 0.77% Cu, 0.11% Ni with trace gold, silver, lead and zinc. Samples from a sulphide occurrence approximately 300 m northwest of the Norrie occurrence assayed 1.0% Cu, 0.20 oz/t Ag, trace nickel and trace zinc. The best assays from Jaye Exploration’s diamond drilling returned 0.1 oz/t Ag and 0.07% Cu over 5 feet in J-1; and 0.4 oz/t Ag and 0.10% Cu over 0.4 ft in DDH J-4.
